Hi My name is Karen Saniga, niece of Bob Saniga driver of Stampede and Miss Bud. My uncle was recently affected by the bushfires in Victoria and has lost all his home, contents and precious memorabilia of his racing days. I am trying to track down any photos that I can for him and was wondering if you had any pictures or photos of his boat or him racing that I could get copies of from you. I have a cherrished A3 poster of Miss Bud which I framed and put behind glass, it is a classic shot too of Miss Bud in all her glory.
Judging by the wake of an unidentified boat on the inside out of shot, I am sure it is Les Spears in Holley or Pete Smith in Kaos giving the Hydro A run for her money, during the 70's. I an happy to give it up for Bob:) Cheers Raymond. |

I'll go through my photo files and see what I can find. All the good old stuff on black & white negatives and colour transparencies!

Raymond. Rather than give up your poster just get it colour copied. When I get beck from Vic this weekend Ill go through what I have and do the same.
